Troubled Times Call for a Change of Direction

June 8th, 2020
Salisbury Pediatric Associates, PA, mourn with our community locally and nationally. We are filled with sorrow at the senseless loss of life of Mr. George Floyd, Mr. Ahmaud Arbery and too many other minority men and women. The collective voices of the injured and disenfranchised are protesting racial injustice and we stand in solidarity with them throughout this struggle.
We, the providers and staff at Salisbury Pediatrics have spent our lives loving and caring for children of any race, color or creed and we believe wholeheartedly that:
All of us deserve safety and due process in all cases of concern
All of us deserve the right to pursue happiness as granted in the laws of this country
All of us deserve clean air, clean water and clean food
All of us deserve the right to thrive without prejudice to our color, creed or beliefs
We absolutely believe that racism and discrimination have no place in any society. Racism is a form of hate and causes lasting effects mentally and physically on any exposed children. Protecting the most fragile among us should be priority number one and that begins with love and not hate.
We encourage you to teach all children the creed of honor, integrity and pluralistic beliefs. We are, have always been and God willing will always be a melting pot of races, religions, beliefs.
We stand with all Americans as we fight against endemic racism and hate. Lead by example and love your neighbor. We are and always will be here for all children regardless of race, color, creed, or socioeconomic status.
God bless and may we all find peace in troubled waters.
